Energy Conservation Group is a Building Performance Institute (BPI) Test Center, RESNET Rater and Training Provider and approved by the Nevada Real Estate Division for Nevada Energy Auditing License. Earn your BPI Building Analyst, Envelope or Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Professional or RESNET HERS Rater certification with minimal interruption to your business. These classes are scheduled around busy schedules with a combination of weekday, evenings, weekend and online sessions.

Building Analyst or Envelope Professional Training Class
Duration: Six day (50 hours over two weekends) class. Course includes written and field exams for BPI Building Analyst or Envelope Professional Certification.

March 14-20
April 20-22 and 27-29 (Two Weekends)
June 1-3 and 8-10 (Two Weekends)
July 13-15 and 20-22 (Two Weekends)
August 24-26 and August 31-September 2 (Two Weekends)
October 12-14 and 19-21 (Two Weekends)

A/C & Heat Pump Professional Training Class

Duration: (42 hours over two weeks) Combination of evening, weekend and online sessions. Course includes written and field exams for BPI A/C & Heat Pump Professional Certification.
Student must be EPA 608 Level II Certified. If not BPI Building Analyst/Envelope trained or certified, Residential Energy must be read and an assessment test passed prior to the start of class.

RESNET HERS Rater Training and Certification Class
Duration: Five days (40 hours). Supplemental Training for BPI Certified individuals: Four days (32 hours). Course includes written exam and two field ratings.

Prerequisites for Building Envelope and A/C and Heat Pump Training:
    
• Complete and pass skills assessment test before start of class
     • Read “Residential Energy” by Krigger and Dorsi prior to class (available after payment is received)
     • EPA 608 Type II certification is required before taking the A/C and Heat Pump field exam
     • Laptop computer for written exam(s)
     • Basic calculator for use in class and written online exam
     • Clip board, hard hat, 25’ tape measure, flashlight
